Struggling with injuries and unavailable players Carlton fielded a weakened team, without substitutes, to face the young lads of the Youth Service.

Rashied Earle played his first game of the season and looked rusty as he missed a couple chances.  The well-rounded (with skill of course) Derek Scutt showed his form was also a bit off as he missed a “1-on-1” with the BYS keeper.  Toby Johnson’s header was too soft and so was the overall Carlton performance as the Youth Service capitalized on a Daniel Hatch and  Dillon Clarke collision to tap the ball into the Carlton goal from 4 yards for the winning goal.  This was an easy game to forget.
