Carlton ATP Climbing OBL Table

This is what happens when LVG gets out of his seat - goals galore must score! The strikers in the 2016 Stag Old Boys Masters League took their cue from Marcus Rashford this week, and the ole onion bag was bulging non-stop! Topping the bill was the team topping the bill, as Gall Hill stuffed Vintage Exactly 8-1 at the Carlton ground. Combined Forces were only half as good as they beat Carlton XP 4-0 in the late kick off.
Over at Wanderers, Carlton ATPs resurgence is definitely on, as they shocked defending champions West Coast Ballers with a convincing 4-2 win. The second game there saw home team Wanderers move up into the Premiership Zone with a 2-0 victory over Wildey. There was no let up in the goal-fest in the weekend's final game at the Trents ground, which saw Royalty Ballers and Maple play to a thrilling 2-2 draw.
Opta Joe's Stat Machine tells us that a massive twenty-five goals were scored this weekend, at an impressive average of five per game (the highest for the season so far), so if you missed Round 9 then you were definitely in the wrong place. We can't say the same of the Combined Forces and Wanderers goalkeepers, who recorded the only shut-outs for the weekend.
Most teams have only two games left in Phase I, and chances to finish in the blue zone are getting fewer and fewer. Combined Forces take a break this weekend, and anything can happen between Round 10 next week and the final round on March 13.
